Accessible College Disclosure Policy

Intellectual Property

We at Accessible College, recognize and respect intellectual property rights and are committed to fulfilling our moral and legal obligations with respect to our use of copyright-protected works.

  1. No Client of Accessible College may reproduce any copyrighted work in print, video or digital form in violation of the law. Works are considered protected even if they are not registered with the U.S. Copyright Office or any registering agency outside the U.S. and even if they do not carry the copyright symbol (©). Copyrighted works include, but are not limited to: printed articles from publications, electronic articles in online publications, online videos, movies, TV and radio programs, recorded music performances, images, training materials, manuals, documentation, software programs, databases, websites and blogs. In general, the laws that apply to printed materials also apply to visual and digital formats such as websites, streaming media, music downloads, mobile apps, CDs and DVDs. Nothing in this Agreement shall constitute a transfer of ownership of any Intellectual Property from Instructor to Client, nor grant any license to use the information, other than that which is expressly provided throughout the course of the Program. If a violation is discovered or suspected, Instructor reserves the right to immediately end Client’s participation in the Program without refund, as well as access to any program or materials Client may have purchased, without refund, and reserve the right to prosecute any actionable infringement or misuse to the full extent of the law.
  2. To obtain permission to reproduce copyrighted works outside of Accessible College and/or to use such works in ways that are not covered by our license or other prior agreements, clients should request permissions and contact the Rights and Licensing Department of the copyright holder. Questions on specific procedures should be directed to Annie Tulkin, Founder and Director of Accessible College. Questions concerning copyright procedures, including fair use, should be addressed to Annie Tulkin, Founder and Director of Accessible College.

Professional Conduct and Nondiscrimination Policy 

Accessible College will uphold high standards of professional conduct and ensure that discrimination or unethical behavior is not tolerated within the organization or among instructors. Accessible College will promote diversity, inclusivity, and respect for all learners, regardless of gender, age, socioeconomic or ethnic background, sexual orientation, or disability. 

Instructors and organizational personnel will be expected to adhere to these guidelines and demonstrate professionalism in their interactions with learners. Any instances of discrimination, deceptive practices, or unethical behavior will be addressed promptly and appropriately.

Accessible College is committed to fostering a professional, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all learners. Our policies reflect our dedication to maintaining high standards of professional conduct and ensuring nondiscrimination on the basis of gender, age, socioeconomic or ethnic background, sexual orientation, or disability.

Accessible College prohibits discrimination, harassment, and unethical behavior in all forms. All instructional personnel are expected to adhere to the highest standards of professional conduct, promoting equality, respect, and integrity in all interactions with learners.

Scope: This policy applies to all Accessible College instructional personnel, including but not limited to educators, trainers, mentors, and administrative staff.

Ethical Behavior: Instructors must demonstrate integrity, honesty, and fairness in all educational activities. Confidentiality of learner information must be maintained at all times. 

Respectful Interactions: Instructors must treat all learners with respect, recognizing the inherent dignity of each individual. Communication should be professional, constructive, and free from derogatory or discriminatory language.

Commitment to Excellence:Instructors should strive for continuous improvement in their teaching methods and professional skills.Feedback from learners should be welcomed and used constructively to enhance the learning experience. 

Equal Opportunity: All learners have equal access to educational resources, opportunities, and support services. Discrimination based on gender, age, socioeconomic or ethnic background, sexual orientation, or disability is strictly prohibited.

Inclusive Practices: Instructional materials and activities should reflect diversity and inclusivity. Reasonable accommodations should be provided to ensure all learners can fully participate in educational programs.

Reporting and Addressing Discrimination: Any form of discrimination or harassment should be reported immediately to Annie Tulkin, Founder/Director of Accessible College.  All reports will be investigated promptly and thoroughly, with appropriate action taken to address any issues.

Policy Dissemination: New instructional personnel will be required to read and sign a copy of this policy upon hiring to ensure all instructors understand and adhere to the policy. Recertification is required annually to ensure ongoing compliance and awareness..

Monitoring and Evaluation: Compliance with the policy will be monitored through regular evaluations and feedback from learners. Any deviations from the policy will be addressed promptly, with corrective actions implemented as necessary.

Disciplinary Action: Violations of the policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. The severity of the action will depend on the nature and extent of the violation.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Learner requested cancellations must be submitted within 48 hours of purchase for a full refund. Learner requests for refund made after 48 hours will not be refunded.

In the unlikely event that Accessible College removes the course from the internet, current learners will be fully refunded.
