partnerships

As Accessible College grows, there is always room for more partnerships to help students in need.

Current Partnerships

PTC Therapeutics

PTC Therapeutics is a leading treatment provider for patients in the rare disease community. They continually work to pioneer new treatments for those who do not have any. PTC is an amazing partnership; together, we work to advance the boundaries of what is possible for those who are physically disabled or have a chronic health condition.

I’ve created a 4 part webinar series for PTC’s Insightful Moments program. Click below to watch the recordings
and view the roadmaps!

The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation

The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation is at the forefront of spinal cord rehabilitation, constantly researching new ways to provide treatment for those affected. I partner with them to provide resources and training for students with physical disabilities, as well as counseling for students preparing for the college transition (which is covered by the Foundation’s scholarships). I have done countless webinars going in-depth on the topic and giving first-hand advice.

Perkins School for the Blind

Perkins School for the Blind works around the world to get educational access for children that are blind. Their goal is to ensure every child has an equal opportunity to learn and grow. They push for disability inclusion and create spaces where every child feels they belong. I work with them and their students to provide advice on transitioning to college; including how to get in contact with support offices, and professors, and what questions students need to ask the school.

I worked with Perkins to create a College Readiness Resource Center aimed at helping students with visual impairment and blindness. However, this information is valuable to any student with a disability who is considering college, as well as info for educators and guardians.

Interested in Partnering?

PTC Therapeutics, The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation,
and Perkins School for the Blind are just a few of the numerous organizations I partner with. Other organizations include
non-profits, foundations, school districts, corporations, and companies.

In each partnership, I work tirelessly to provide students with the resources they need in their transition to college. As Accessible College grows, we always have room for additional partnerships to help students in need. Contact me to inquire about partnerships!

Annie’s guidance helped me really get to the crux of matters, and avoid the vague answers typically provided by college representatives. She also helped me think about the day as a whole and think of each step, and examine issues that don’t really come up in the high school setting.
